How to purchase AGV on Uniswap
- Go to uniswap.org and click the “Launch App” button in the upper right corner of the page.
2. Connect your wallet to the Uniswap App to begin using the application.
You may choose, MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, FortMatic, and Portis as your wallet on Uniswap but for the purpose of this article guide, MetaMask will be used.
3. Once your wallet is connected, you may input the tokens you want to trade. For AGV, the only accepted assets are USDC and ETH.
4. Once you’ve selected your asset, you may now get the payment address through Coin Gecko. First, search for AGV and then copy the address located at the right column of the AGV preview on Coin Gecko.
5. Paste the copied address from Coin Gecko on your Uniswap order page.
6. Input how much USDC/ETH to AGV you want to purchase, click “Swap” to request your order. The “Swap” button changes to a permission button as a wallet confirmation feature.
7. A Metamask prompt will then appear on the upper right corner of your browser to confirm your transaction. Finally, click “Sign” to allow access to your MetaMask Assets.
8. Once permission has been granted, you may now click on “Swap,” then a confirmation prompt will appear, click on “Confirm Swap” to finalize your request.
9. A Metamask prompt will again appear to confirm your permission, review the transaction as well as the gas fees. Once everything is correct, click on “Confirm” to allow authorization to Uniswap. Please take note that you will need Ethereum to cover your gas fee.
10. Once confirmed, your AGVs will now be requested. Wait for a few seconds, then click on “Add AGV to MetaMask”
11. Your MetaMask will again open to ask permission to add your purchased AGV Tokens to your wallet. Click on “Add Token.”
12. A notification at the upper right (for Uniswap) and bottom right (for MetaMask) corner of your home page will appear on your screen once the transaction has been completed.
13. You may check your wallet to see your purchased AGV.
